Europäische Zimmerer-Teams treten in Köln an

Mit dabei sind aktuell Teams aus Deutschland, Frankreich, Luxemburg, der Schweiz, Südtirol/Italien und Ungarn. Die teilnehmenden Länder entsenden maximal drei ZimmererInnen pro Land zur Zimmerer-Europameisterschaft (EM) 2022.

Unter tce-championship.eu informiert der europäische Dachverband, Timber Construction Europe, über den aktuellen Stand der Vorbereitungen zur EM 2022. Unter dem Menüpunkt „Köln 2022“ sind u.a. Informationen zum Programm, dem Wettbewerb im Allgemeinen, zur Bewertung und zu den Experten der Bewertungskommission hinterlegt. Sobald das Anmeldeverfahren abgeschlossen ist, werden dort auch die BetreuerInnen sowie die Wettbewerbs-TeilnehmerInnen präsentiert.

Anspruchsvolle Wettbewerbsaufgaben

Die Wettbewerbsaufgaben stellen die TeilnehmerInnen der Timber Construction European Championships vor große Herausforderungen. Sie müssen nicht nur ihre handwerklichen Fähigkeiten und ihren fachgerechten Umgang mit dem Baustoff Holz unter Beweis stellen. Dem Wettbewerbsrummel zum Trotz müssen sie die Aufgaben konzentriert, sorgfältig und präzise umzusetzen. Schließlich gilt es, ebenso wie bei den nationalen Berufswettbewerben, anspruchsvolle Holzkonstruktionen präzise und handwerklich durchdacht in einem klar definierten Zeitrahmen zu zimmern. Die Holzkonstruktionen werden anschließend von einer europäischen Expertenjury bewertet, um sowohl die beste europäische Mannschaft als auch die beste Zimmerin bzw. den besten Zimmerer aus den Reihen der teilnehmenden Nationen zu küren.

Die einzelnen europäischen Zimmererverbände nehmen mit maximal drei jungen ZimmerInnen am Wettbewerb teil. Diese messen sich sowohl einzeln als auch als Mannschaften untereinander Beim europäischen Berufswettbewerb 2018 in Luxemburg kämpften 24 Teilnehmer aus zehn Nationen um die begehrten Medaillen. Die Zimmerer-Nationalmannschaft von Holzbau Deutschland konnte sich 2018 als beste Mannschaft Europas behaupten. Auf Platz zwei und drei folgten Frankreich und die Schweiz. Im Einzelwettbewerb errang der Zimmerergeselle Alexander Bruns die Goldmedaille vor dem Schweizer Rafael Bieler (Silber) und Lukas Nafz (Bronze).

European Carpenters Championships in Cologne: Who will be European Champion 2022?

The 14th European Carpentry Competition will take place in 2022 as part of the DACH+HOLZ International trade fair in Hall 7 of the Cologne exhibition center. From February 15 to 18, journeymen carpenters from Europe will compete to be the best in their craft. European member states can still register their teams until November 19, 2021. Those who have completed vocational training in the carpentry trade and those who have not yet exceeded the age of 24 are eligible to participate.

European carpentry teams compete in Cologne

Teams from Germany, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, South Tyrol/Italy and Hungary are currently taking part. The participating countries will send a maximum of three carpenters per country to the European Carpentry Championship (EC) 2022.

At tce-championship.eu the European umbrella organization, Timber Construction Europe, provides information on the current status of preparations for the EC 2022. Under the menu item "Cologne 2022", information is provided, among other things, on the program, the competition in general, the evaluation and the experts of the evaluation commission. As soon as the registration process has been completed, the supervisors and the competition participants will also be presented there.

Challenging competition tasks

The competition tasks pose great challenges to the participants of the Timber Construction European Championships. They not only have to prove their craftsmanship and their professional handling of the building material wood. Despite the hustle and bustle of the competition, they have to carry out the tasks with concentration, care and precision. After all, just as in the national vocational competitions, they have to carpenter sophisticated wooden constructions precisely and with well thought-out craftsmanship within a clearly defined time frame. The wooden constructions are then judged by a European jury of experts to select both the best European team and the best carpenter from among the participating nations.

The individual European carpenter associations take part in the competition with a maximum of three young carpenters. These compete against each other both individually and as teams At the 2018 European professional competition in Luxembourg, 24 participants from ten nations competed for the coveted medals. The national carpentry team from Holzbau Deutschland was able to assert itself as the best team in Europe in 2018. France and Switzerland followed in second and third place. In the individual competition, journeyman carpenter Alexander Bruns won the gold medal ahead of Switzerland's Rafael Bieler (silver) and Lukas Nafz (bronze).

Le 14e édition du Concours professionnel européen des charpentiers aura lieu en 2022 dans le cadre du salon international DACH+HOLZ, dans le hall 7 du parc des expositions de Cologne. Du 15 au 18 février, des compagnons charpentiers d'Europe s'affronteront pour être les meilleurs dans leur métier. Les États membres européens peuvent encore inscrire leurs équipes jusqu'au 19 novembre 2021. Peuvent participer les personnes qui ont suivi une formation professionnelle dans le domaine de la charpenterie et qui n'ont pas encore dépassé l'âge de 24 ans.

Les équipes européennes de charpentiers s'affrontent à Cologne

Des équipes d'Allemagne, de France, du Luxembourg, de Suisse, du Tyrol du Sud/Italie et de Hongrie y participent actuellement. Les pays participants enverront au maximum trois charpentiers par pays au championnat européen de charpenterie (CE) 2022. Sur tce-championship.eu l'organisation faîtière européenne, Timber Construction Europe, fournit des informations sur l'état actuel des préparatifs du CE 2022. Sous le menu "Cologne 2022", on trouve notamment des informations sur le programme, le concours en général, l'évaluation et les experts de la commission d'évaluation. Dès que la procédure d'inscription sera terminée, les superviseurs et les participants au concours y seront également présentés.

Des tâches de compétition stimulantes

Les tâches du concours constituent de grands défis pour les participants aux championnats européens de la construction en bois. Ils ne doivent pas seulement prouver leur savoir-faire et leur maniement professionnel du bois comme matériau de construction. Malgré l'agitation de la compétition, ils doivent accomplir les tâches avec concentration, soin et précision. En effet, tout comme dans les concours professionnels nationaux, ils doivent réaliser des constructions en bois sophistiquées, de manière précise et réfléchie, dans un délai clairement défini. Les constructions en bois sont ensuite évaluées par un jury européen d'experts afin de sélectionner la meilleure équipe européenne et le meilleur charpentier parmi les nations participantes.

Les différentes associations européennes de charpentiers participent au concours avec un maximum de trois jeunes charpentiers. Ils s'affrontent en individuel et en équipe. Lors de la compétition professionnelle européenne 2018 au Luxembourg, 24 participants de dix nations se sont disputés les médailles tant convoitées. L'équipe nationale de charpentiers de Holzbau Deutschland a pu s'affirmer comme la meilleure équipe d'Europe en 2018. La France et la Suisse suivent en deuxième et troisième position. Dans la compétition individuelle, le compagnon charpentier Alexander Bruns a remporté la médaille d'or devant les Suisses Rafael Bieler (argent) et Lukas Nafz (bronze).
